Help for Nellie

Many who have done business with RockIt Records & Recording over the years have met Nellie Rosario Oman. Many others of you have never had the pleasure. She has served as the Corporate Secretary and as a Member of the Board of Directors for RR&R since the Great Lakes Region began operations in 2003.

Nellie was recently diagnosed with Stage III Invasive Ductile Carcinoma (IDC). She is about to undergo a long and arduous treatment regimen of extended chemotherapy, followed by extensive surgery and radiation treatments.

In retrospect, we wish we could have done it differently but RockIt Records has always operated with the intent of providing the lowest cost products and services to the community of artists we service and as such, has never been in a position to provide medical benefits to our directors or staff. To make her personal situation worse, recent economic downturns led to the loss of her ‘real job' and the medical benefits that position provided.

Conservative estimates place the expected cost of her pending care and treatments at over one half million dollars ($500,000.00+) over the course of the next year. RockIt Records has established a means for donations to be made that will help her defray the costs of undergoing this extreme and expensive care.
